About Me

I believe mental health is far more than the absence of illness.

For me, mental health does not mean being happy all the time or living a perfect life.

It means staying able to act even in challenging times, treating yourself with compassion, and shaping your path with greater clarity and confidence.

That is exactly where I support people.

My Story

Why I became a psychologist

From an early age, I was fascinated by why people think, feel, and act the way they do.

I was interested not only in why people suffer, but above all in why some people grow through difficult phases, find hope, and regain their strength.

That curiosity led me to study clinical psychology.

Today I support people in developing more inner calm, clarity, and quality of life, with scientific grounding and a human approach.

My Approach

How I work

I do not believe in changing or fixing people. I believe in helping people rediscover their own resources.

Every person brings a different story. That is why there is no standard solution for me.

Evidence-based

Depending on your needs, I work with methods from cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, health psychology, and mindfulness-based approaches.

Individual

When it makes sense, I complement these with insights from movement and yoga. Every collaboration is tailored to your personal situation and goals.

Sustainable

My goal is to share scientifically grounded strategies in a way that creates lasting change in everyday life.

My Background

My path

I was born in Germany and grew up in Costa Rica.

These experiences have deeply shaped how I understand mental health, cultural differences, and human connection.

Today I work with people from different countries and cultures in German, English, and Spanish.

Like many of my clients, I have experienced how major life transitions can shift our perspective.

These experiences have deepened my understanding of stress, self-care, and mental health.

What shapes my work

As a clinical psychologist, I believe real change begins where people feel understood.

That is why I care about creating a space that is scientifically grounded and genuinely human. A space where you can show up without judgment and develop new perspectives together with me.

Perhaps you recognize yourself here.

You keep going in daily life, but feel exhausted on the inside.

Perhaps you are facing an important change, want more clarity, or wish to live more in tune with yourself again.

Not every challenge requires psychotherapy. Sometimes a safe space, professional guidance, and the right tools are enough to develop new perspectives and start lasting change.

If this resonates with you, I would be glad to meet you.
