Low Mood & Depression

When everyday life starts to feel increasingly difficult, your energy and enjoyment are fading, and you want to feel more connected to yourself again.

Does this sound familiar?

  • Everyday life feels harder than it used to, and even small tasks require more energy.
  • Things you once enjoyed feel less meaningful or no longer interest you as much.
  • You often feel low, empty, or emotionally exhausted.
  • You lack motivation and energy, while at the same time finding it difficult to make changes.
  • You find yourself withdrawing more or feeling less interested in social connection.
  • You are more critical of yourself, experience frequent self-doubt, or simply don't feel quite like yourself anymore.

How I can support you

Together, we create space for what you are experiencing – without pressure or the expectation that you need to feel better quickly.

We explore the thoughts, emotions, and behavioural patterns that may be contributing to how you feel and look at what could help you regain a greater sense of stability and choice. We work with small, realistic steps that reflect your current situation and what feels manageable for you.

The aim is to gradually reconnect with yourself, your needs, and the things that bring meaning and quality of life.

My approach

My work is grounded in Clinical Psychology and evidence-based methods, including approaches from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, and mindfulness-based interventions.

Together, we look beyond individual symptoms and explore the thoughts, behaviours, relationships, and life circumstances that may be influencing how you feel.

The aim isn't to get rid of difficult emotions as quickly as possible. Instead, we gradually develop a better understanding of what you are experiencing and find ways to build greater stability, self-efficacy, and quality of life.

You don't have to wait until things get worse

Psychological support can be helpful when you notice that low mood, lack of motivation, or withdrawal are increasingly affecting your everyday life – even if you're not sure whether what you're experiencing is depression.

You don't need to have everything figured out or be able to explain exactly how you feel before seeking support. Together, we can begin by understanding what is happening and exploring which next steps may be helpful for you.
